CTDC’s first official website continues to gain momentum as a central source for Caribbean travel information. In November 2008, there were 92,565 unique visitors and 116,933 total visitor sessions to the site. This represents an 8% increase from the previous month. New and Improved OneCaribbean.org
The new www.Onecaribbean.org has been designed and built based on the Web 2.0 methodology and with its new content is a very interactive resource and information centre for CTO members, tourism professionals, the media and tourism HR practitioners and educators. It is a site for you to participate in and to use actively, and provides information about what we do, latest news and information and is the catalyst to build contacts, learn and share information and develop ideas for the benefit of our Caribbean destinations, members and for the future development of Caribbean tourism.

New Web 2.0 - Social Networking – The site now incorporates RSS, podcasts and blogs allowing for more interactivity from and among CTO members and tourism partners.

New Image Library – CTO has partnered with FotoSeeker to provide high resolution, compelling photographs of our member countries and their attractions.

New Career Opportunities – Find a Tourism Consultant, Search for Jobs – The Consultancy Database, a new feature, allows CTO members to both showcase their expertise and find consultants for tourism projects. Coming on stream soon is a Caribbean Tourism Job Centre, where you can search for jobs in the tourism and hospitality fields.

Soon to come – A new Travel Trade section will soon be live designed to promote and encourage a dynamic relationship between the global Travel Trade and the CTO members including National Tourism Organisations, Caribbean Travel Industry, Travel Media and other stakeholders.

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), with headquarters in Barbados and marketing operations in New York, London and Toronto, is the Caribbean’s tourism development agency and comprises membership of over 30 member governments and a myriad of private sector entities.

The CTO’s mission is to provide to and through its members, the services and information needed for the development of sustainable tourism for the economic and social benefit of the Caribbean people. The organization provides specialized support and technical assistance to member countries in the areas of marketing, human resource development, research and statistics, information technology and sustainable tourism development.
