Marketing 

Among other things, tourism marketing efforts include the creation and provision of programmes that market and promote the Caribbean as a region, the coordination of a Regional Marketing Programme and the provision of marketing training and advice to the membership.

CTO sponsors regular trade shows in Europe and an annual Caribbean Tourism Conference that brings together the diverse elements of the Caribbean tourism industry in one location to discuss issues and challenges facing the sector.

International, national and regional experts gather at the annual Sustainable Tourism Conference to examine problems in the development of the regional tourism product and offer solutions for its sustainable growth. The organization’s sustainable tourism programme focuses on the development of standards and indicators, the sensitization of industry personnel via workshops and interagency collaboration.

Events such as the Caribbean State Balls staged in the USA and UK raise funds for tourism educational programmes and marketing activities.
