Say goodbye to those long lines at the airport, CARIPASS gives you the freedom to move through immigration quickly and easily.
Soon to be launched in ten (10) Members of the Caribbean Community, you too can be a part of the CARIPASS Community of Trusted Travellers and experience the ease and convenience of the Region’s new self service express lanes.
The CARIPASS would be valid for one (1) year or three (3) years and can be used by CARICOM nationals or legal residents who are sixteen (16) years of age or older, and are deemed eligible under the current CARIPASS application guidelines. Legal residents would include work and student permit / visa holders.
The CARIPASS is easy to carry as it is the size of an average credit card. Simply check the expiration date on the front of the card prior to travelling and you are on your way. At the automatic CARIPASS gate, scan your card, follow the steps on the screen, and wait for the gates to open before making your way through.
In the past, frequent travellers have often needed to purchase oversized passports or regularly renew passports to accommodate the immigration stamps of CARICOM Member States. Frequent travellers are often able to exit immigration inspection points in a short space of time, but frequently have a lengthy wait in arrival or departure halls due to long lines.
The CARIPASS lets you avoid the long lines and automatically records your entry or exit at the self-service CARIPASS gate. Say goodbye to stamps in your passport, and hello to the CARIPASS receipt which gives you all the information you would normally find on your immigration stamp.
Whether it is an early morning business meeting, a conference to attend, or just anxiously wanting to rest after a long flight, CARIPASS takes the edge off of travel by expediting your immigration wait and giving you the option of the fastest line!
Above all, the CARIPASS keeps it simple. From enrollment to travel to renewal, the CARIPASS system is designed to reduce any anxiety and frustration felt while travelling within the Region.
