Professional Leadership Skills Programme

The Caribbean Tourism Organization, in collaboration with Springboard Caribbean, is pleased to offer an Institute of Hospitality endorsed Professional Leadership Skills Programme consisting of three virtual workshops.   To complete the programme, participants must attend and fulfil the requirements of all three workshops.

Increasing turbulence and challenges in the business environment brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and other global disruptions means that organizations are even more dependent on their leadership team to have the knowledge and skills to quickly respond to arising challenges whilst motivating and leading their organizations to improve business performance. The purpose of the Professional Leadership Skills Programme is to provide participants with the underpinning knowledge, tools and techniques that will enable them to have a clearer understanding of their role and responsibilities as leaders, develop a strategic mindset and implement activities that will improve team cohesion and overall performance standards.

Target Audience

This programme has been specifically designed for supervisors and managers with responsibility for managing people but who may not have had the opportunity to undertake formal training on how to be an effective leader, how to execute strategy effectively and how to influence culture to improve business performance.

This programme consists of three leadership workshops that have been successfully delivered across the Caribbean region.  All of the workshops are endorsed and co-certificated by the Institute of Hospitality, UK.
