Successful completion of this workshop by participants will be assessed as follows:
Part One: All participants will complete a practical assessment on day three of the workshop during which they will design and deliver a 15 to 20-minute training session to an audience. The session will be observed, video taped and feedback provided by the program assessors.
Part Two: The second part of the assessment will require the submission of a written assignment of approximately 1,500 words covering at least three of the key learning outcomes of the workshop.
Deadline date for the submission of the written assignment is: Wednesday, 25 March 2020.
Assessment of written assignments will be undertaken by Springboard Caribbean and the Confederation for Tourism and Hospitality and will be assessed as either Pass or Fail.
- Candidates will need to achieve a pass for all three questions.
- The Pass mark will be 35 out of a possible 50 for each question.
- Each part of a question carries equal marks.
All learners will be provided with written feedback and guidance.
Upon completion of this workshop, all participants, who have successfully completed the workshop, i.e. Parts I & II, will be awarded a certificate by Springboard Caribbean and the CTO, endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality. They will also be certified by the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality UK accreditation organization.
Also, upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will receive a full elective unit towards the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality’s ‘Diploma in Management and Leadership for Business & Hospitality’.
