Ann Maria Quail – Managing Director, Springboard Caribbean

Ann Maria Quail is Managing Director and lead Management and Organisational Development Facilitator at Springboard Caribbean. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. Ann Maria’s experience in Human Resource Management and Organisational Development spans the UK and the Caribbean in both the private and public sectors, having spent many years working in the UK’s National Health Service before moving to the private sector as the Director of Human Resources for ICAS International, an EAP and Behavioral Risk Management Organisation.

She also worked as a Magistrate, prior to moving back to the Caribbean. Ann Maria’s work in the Caribbean focuses primarily on Management and Leadership and Organisational Development including strategic planning, aligning vision, mission, values and behaviours and culture change. She has significant experience working with individuals and management teams to improve individual accountability, commitment and overall organisational effectiveness and productivity.

Organisational Development consulting and training activities include:

• Exploring solutions and making recommendations
• Action planning and measurement

John Quail – Director of Operations, Springboard Caribbean

John Quail is the joint owner/Director of Springboard Caribbean. a leading training and consultancy company which offers management & leadership training and a range of organizational developmental programs to Caribbean businesses. As the strategic educational partner of the CHTA, Springboard operates across the Caribbean region.

John Quail is a Fellow of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute) and started his management & leadership training at Henley Management College, UK and went on to complete the PRISM International Programme for Executive Development at IMD (International Institute for Management Development) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Much of John’s professional career was spent in various management and leadership roles with BT (British Telecom). As Vice President Business Performance & Planning for BT Global, John spend a number of years designing and delivering training programmes to develop the management and leadership teams of new acquisitions in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. During this time John was also considered an industry expert and experienced on subjects such as Business Transformation, Strategy Alignment & Deployment, Quality Management Systems, Business Performance Management and Balanced Scorecard Development and has presented at several International conferences (Dubai, USA, Netherlands, Singapore, Hungary) on these subject areas.

John has also spent a number of years assessing and evaluating how some of the world’s leading organisations achieved their business results as a trained Award Assessor with the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management).

For the last seven years John has used his consultancy and training experience in the delivery of Management & Leadership training programmes for Springboard Caribbean with the principle focus of helping organisations build capacity in the execution of their strategic plans and the achievement of their business results.
