The CTO and the George Washington University (GWU), through its Master of Tourism and MBA students, developed a Digital Toolkit for Tourism SMEs which provides guidance on how these businesses can utilize digital resources to help in their recovery planning.

The GWU students worked with public and private sector representatives in Belize and Grenada last year to develop market specific versions of these tools and then they were subsequently expanded for potential adoption by other CTO member countries.
The workshop, “Digital Toolkit for Tourism Enterprise Recovery,” held on April 12, 2021, reviewed practical actions and good practices from the Digital Toolkit for Tourism Businesses, as well as engage tourism stakeholders on how they can realistically leverage the recovery toolkit to the fullest extent as they navigate the pandemic crisis.
